For children, I believe parents need to listen to what their kids are listening too. As adults, we should have strong enough minds to not have something simple as music influence our decisions. So no, I don't think he has a hand in music. Why do you say rock music? How about rap? How about country? I've heard some rap music about murder and country music about racism, so if he has anything to do with music, it's not just rock music.

I believe satan has an influence in everything. Every day is a battle with satan in one way or another for a Christian. satan does not want us to worship our Heavenly Father, so he costantly tempts us in all sorts of way, and yes music is one of those ways. Not all rock music is bad though, some are very good. Rock music is not the only music that satan works through though, he works through all genres of music. satan is everywhere tempting us constantly, and wants to do whatever he can to get us to stumble and fall, and at times it can be very difficult to resist his temptations, and it can be harder for some than for others to resist him. I believe satan has a HUGE influence on the Internet too. Look at all the sleeze and smutt that is everywhere on the net, and EVERYONE, even our children can stumble across it if we do not take meassures to protect them. satan IS everywhere, and tempts each and every one of us Christians on a daily basis, through whatever means he can.

There are so people who will say any kind of music is the work of the devil. I don't think so. Music is music. I don't particularly care for rock or rap but I don't think it is the work of the devil anymore than somebody wheres a tattoo and that makes him a satan worshipper.
