Does responding mor rather than starting discussions will affect our star rating

based on my experience, responding more will increase the points but starting discussions will slightly affect the star rating. also, when users rate your posts, it will definitely increase a little bit of your star rating.

Well, from my experience, the more you responded to a post, you will get better star rating. But it also depends with the rate that you have. So posting a quality post does help you to get better star. Cheers.

It has been my experiance that responding works just as well if not better that starting discusions. At least for the star rating. However starting them of course is important.
