Well new friends...I must confess...I've never voted in a presidential election. I know, I've shirked my civic duties. I've decided recently that my voice does count and I need to use it. So, I'm going to vote this year! I feel a bit overwhelmed by all of the information available across the web. What I would really like is to hear who you are supporting and why. I will continue to do my research and form an opinion and take all of your opinions in as part of my decision. Looking forward to talking to you all about this!

Well, yes, your voice does count. And I have always asserted that if you don't vote, you don't get to gripe about the way things are going. I finally got my father to vote in the last election and he was 57. I won't share my picks just yet.

Melizzy,
I too have held your assertion that no vote = no right to share your opinion. That's why I'm so excited to become a voter because I do have opinions! Congrats on your father...that's awesome! I look forward to a running discussion with you as the election draws nearer!
