why is people racist??

I have someone really close to me and I love them with ever fiber of my being. But they r so racist...just to black normally...but I get so embarised over it... I don't mind any color of anyone.. I just wouldn't be with a person of a different color.. why is this??? It really bothers me...I don't concider myself racist at all my daughters have black friend that are at my house all the time and I really like them...But I can't have them at my house when that person is here cause they will say stuff that I think shouldn't be said at all...What do I do?? Am I racist??Why is so many people racist????

If you let your "racist" friend dictate who can come over to your house, you are saying that how he thinks is ok. Invite whoever you like to your house, if your friend doesn't like it, that's too bad. Tell him his attitude would maybe change if he met some different people face to face, he may see that there is no reason for him to think they're different from him.

I have tried to talk to him about it and he just gets upset...and this person is my brother and I could never tell him he isn't welcomed to my home at any time...and I always try to make everyone who does come to my house as comfertable as they can be..Thank you for your response and advice....god bless you

I think that thats really unfair to coloured people because i have coloured friends and they are really nice.
