Brett Lee, Austrailia's third-highest wicket taker in the ODIs, will miss the World Cup defense in the Caribbean because of an ankle injury and will be replaced by stuart Clark. The 30-year-old Lee, Who tore left ankle liagments last week, withdrew from Austrailia's 15-man squad after seeing a specialist Sydney on Friday.
Stuart Clarke, who took a series-leading 26 wicket in the Ashes.
Is Austrailia capable of reaching the Super 8?

yup...Super 8 should be a problem for austarlia..as thr are two weak teams in their group defeating them should be a cakewalk for them...for the journey ahead there could be some hiccups

This is not only a loss for Australia but a great loss for Cricket Lovers around the globe, we are surely going to miss out speedstars like Lee, Pathan, and may be Akhtar - the cause may differ but effect is the same and very painful for us.
Australia is surely reaching Super 8 and I can even see them among the top 4 actaully.
