well, there are always two ways of doing things, one is the right way and another is of wrong way. it is you who have to choose what u want, if you want to choose the right way, then make your profile as descriptive as possible, let people know that what you are and what you want to be, what are your likings and dislikings, and join communities which u like most, and alos participate in events also. and the wrong way is to upload a fake photo in your account which looks handsome and dashing as well, write as many things as possbile, which people think of an ideal person, make hobbies as spicy as possible, and the thing is done. so, it is you who have to decide what you want to do, but let me make you clear that there is always shortcut to every thing, and probability of choosing the wrong way is very high, but it is not durable, if you choose the right way then your friends which becomes on orkut will never let you alone and the'll help you when you need them, because they know each n everything about you, and after that only they became your frnd. so, do what you want.

well easy way to make more and more friends is to just send add reqst to all who you like to add. i mean if you send add reqst to 100 people then most proably 20 ppl will add you. this is the good way.
