Recycle electronic wastes / catalytic converters for $$$

With sky high prices of Gold and platinum today, it makes sense to recycle and sell them for profit. To extract gold, you just need to mix electronic wastes with nitric acid and you will be able to extract gold and sell.
Can you imagine getting paid for helping factories to clear away electronic wastes? I heard India is a dumping ground for electronic waste, anyone can see an opportunity here?
