A 7-year-old girl lived with her dead mom for 5-7days

It happened in my city. I know exactly where. The single mother moved to that flat for a few weeks ago. They did not know anybody in the building. Both of the mother and the child were in bed with flu, that was known in the kindergarten and on the mother's workplace too. The children asked for help from a neighbour after a few days "please, come and help me, my mother has died". The little girl said that she ate, what he found at home. Probably, the mother has died because of the complications of flu. It is very shocking and sad. I was a single mother too, and I was afraid of some similar cases too. If something had happened to me, what my only son could have done? I was single from his birth day for 4 and 1/2 years. What a feeling to see our mother's death in such a young age?

Yes it's very sad. When a mother die is very sad anyway, I know it because I have lost my mother some months ago, but in this age is more difficult.

I try to teach my son to be smart and how to behave in different situations, but there are so many situations he can live through, we can not imagine... And when the problem occurs he may forget everything because of the shock. So we can not prevent the troubles.

How very sad. I was on my own with my three children for a while and often used to wonder what would happen if I had to go to hospital or something similar. Who would look after the children. I hope this poor child has some loving family to care for her somewhere.

So sad. From this incidence we can realize the importance of being live with family. There must be someone who look after us. we should learn from such mishaps.

That is really so very sad! I hope that the poor girl can get some counselling. Something like that could scar a person for life. I hope that she has someone in her family to take care of her now, as well, so that she won't have to go into foster care. And if she does, I really hope that she finds a truly loving home. What an ordeal for a little girl to have to go through. I feel so badly for her and I am wishing her all the best for the rest of her life!

Oh my, how tragic. No child should have to see their parent die so horribly. I can't believe that the mother didn't get medical attention before becoming that ill. This child will likely be scarred and need some therapy.

The child is over on the first shock. She examined by mental doctors. But they also said that she will realize later that she has lost mom. Now she is with her aunt. ANd she probably may stay with her.

I live in Croatia, and a year ago there were story in a magazine about some man who lived on attic for 30 years or something like that. He was 30 and he lok like he was 60 in the picture. The thing taht is amazeing is that his mother has done that. She keept him locked on attic for 30 years. He was skiny and mental health was on zero. He couldn't speak well, and let's not talk about reading and writing. There are lots of ugly soties. You can be very happy if you are not in one of them.

this must have happened in isolated area where they live. where there is no communication with anyone.somebody from their neighbourhood would have informed adoctor or a medical adviser they would have treated her and her life would be saved.

I think the mother felt alredy so bad herself, that she could not get up to go back to the doctor, just tried to sleep.

That is so sad. There was a young boy in Memphis that experienced something similar a few years ago. I can't imagine that. They must be so scared.
