Since taking care of various species of fishes is a hobby in the family, goldfish and black moore has been a part for some years of our lives. These fishes are relatively easy to take care of. There are fish food for sale in the pet shops that will be good enough to sustain them. We prefer the floaters. However, if you want to see them healthier and bigger, give them some mosquito wigglers everyday. Always in amounts which they could consume immediately within 6 hours.
Mosquito wigglers are easy to grow. Have for yourself about 7 extra basins where you will fill with water one each day. Make sure you mark each one the day of the week when you filled it up. Within 8 to 10 days you'll notice that there are now some mosquito wigglers in the water. See for yourself if they are large enough on the 8th day. If they too small yet, make sure to harvest them on the 10th day by sieving the water using a #32 screen, the one which has the smallest holes. Feed them all to the goldfish or whatever fish else you have.
After the first harvest, you will now have a daily supply of mosquito wigglers. Do not forget to fill the basin again with water after having emptied it as you harvested the mosquito wigglers that grew in it. This is the best way to give the fishes a good supply of protein they need which will not pollute the water they are in.
