are you planning a garden for this spring and summer?? Do you already have a plan?? Do you actually draw a plan or "map" of where you are going to grow what?? Is your garden going to be a veggie garden for food or do you have flower gardens?? I am planning mine now and mapping it out and it will be a veggie and herb garden. go to this blog http://gardeningdelites.blogspot.com for some tips and advice on gardening.

I have planned out my garden for 2007 also. We usually have our garden in the same area every year. It is real close to the house so I can step right outside the door and maintain it. We like to grow mainly vegetables like, onions, tomatoes, peppers and someleaf lettuce. I like to put down miracle grow into the soil before planting because I have found by adding miracle grow after planting, causes to much leafy greens and less harvest.

My garden has been in its spot since we built the house. With the raised beds it is pretty simple to put things where they will be. Also rotation planting in this bed which also do not need rototilled are easily manipulated plant wise. To start is the first couple of years as we created more raised beds we did map it out and measure and plot and plan. I keep them as records since we are considered a farm and keep records of 'sales'. I will have to check out your blogspot!
