Source VS 1.6

I don't know what you think, but I think source is better. I don't have graphical problems, which turn most of you off the game. Yes, 1.6 has been played for a longer time than Source, but it is getting old, it is time to make way for newer, more realistic games. Oh well, everyone has their own opinions :D You can't change that. Thanks for the time.

counter-strike 1.6 is better than source , because source is for gamers who wont play for fun , but counter-strike 1.6 is game for taktiks ; teamplay and skill of corse lil bit for fun !!!!

well i have not played yet 1.6 but i have saw it the only difference i have found is that its graphics.

Let me start by saying that Source is NOT Counter-Strike. I've been a Counter-Strike gamer since 1999, and once I saw Source getting released I felt like the guys at Valve were simply trying to exploit the already very consistent gaming community sorrounding Counter-Strike. Once it got released the hitboxes were completely screwed (don't know if that's been fixed even slightly), all the cans and barrels are only in the way, who needs to be able to shoot at a barrel? That's for half-life. Valve should stick with the Source engine to Half-Life, and other games in that area, NOT implement it into an already very much functioning Counter-Strike, that's a disgrace to us "true" CS gamers.

I like 1.6 more than Source, but all of my friends are on Source so I have no choice to burry 1.6 and play Source, I'm also better at Source than 1.6.

I'd have to say source for messing around and having fun, but 1.6 for scrimming or serious play.

1.6 is better because it doesnt lag as much also in scource u kill easier but also die easier i like 1.6 better.
