Today mylot population is almost 70k. Assuming each my lot user create 5 discussions averagely, there should be a total of 350k discussion available for us to respond. If we are able to answer all of the discussion, we can get a score of 350k :O Besides, we can get a lot of earning by doing so. So, do you think is it possible for us to answer all disucssion in mylot? How long do you think we can achieve that score?

I agree with you Nhey, what a freak of net surfing scared the most is the down of internet connection, as well as the slow speed and unsteady network service. We could hardly do any web surf without the Internet connection but we still could load a few posts with the slow motion internet connection.
During the earlier days I was dependent a lot on the dialing system. The connection was slow indeed and the charging was expensive . After I shifted it to the broadband service I could access network connection fast and with reasonable charge. I hope you could upgrade your network service soon, so that you could load more posts all the time.
Happy posting and have a nice day.

it is almost impossible (I'd say) to answer
all the available discussions on this site .
I'd not be able to answer all the discussions
in the whole of my Life time . I have been
responding to only a few discussions every
day . sometimes I'd post just 6 responses
in an hour . I browse a lot to find the
discussions to respond .
if some other member has already posted
a reasonable response then I'd not post
in that discussion ...

Yes, that's easy to say but so hard to implemenet. I myself have lots of questions that are unanswered. MAybe because there are too many questions in myLot that in a few minutes there are already new ones on top.

What you said is true. I am just suggesting an idea :) But if we look at positively, there is a long way for us before we can deplete the discussion. So, as long as this is true, we still have fresh discussion to respond to and keep earning and having fun :)
Thanks for your response.

now mylot population is more than 80k,and i think it is impossible to respond all discussions, because new topics popped out every day,and you even havent finined yesterday's,today's topics are waiting for you, suppose your pc is fast enough, and 1 minute a post, and if you didnt sleep,24hours,that is 24*60minutes,still impossible.and even it is possible, but how long can you stand?we people have limitations, nobody can do that, unless i split myself into ten or more lol

Hi dear yanstill, your remark is quite reasonable and logical. It is really impossible to respond all discussions as we are flooded with on coming new discussions at every moment. But I think, even if we were to split our body into ten or more we still couldn’t be able to tackle the problem.

The figures are not really valid because there are a vast number of inactive members at Mylot who joined the site and decided not to bother. Nevertheless, there are also a great number of active members, so I cannot imagine it being possible for anyone to respond to every discussion.
It is not a matter of how many currently exist, but more of how many are being submitted and at what pace. There are certainly more discussions started per day than you could respond to in 24 hours, so every day the amount left to cover will be greater than the previous day.

Its been 3 years since you asked this question and Mylot has just got more busy and crowded. Very interesting question - but the truth still remains that you cannot answer all questions on Mylot. Its not humanly possible!

You are right pitstop, I started this discussion 3 years back. The mylot population at that time was only 70 k. The population shown at the right bottom of the page is 168 k now. We can see how tremendous the increase of mylot population is! It is more than half compare to that in 3 years ago. So obviously it is impossible for us to answer all the questions, even only those that popping up in a single day. The advantage is, this provides us more choices to pick the interesting topics to answer.
Happy posting and have a nice day.

Hi dian, I think I could, if I would be an alien from the other planet. And I possess super natural powers! Just like what we have seen in many science fiction movies. I will change you into a powerful bionic woman then. Hehe ... at the time surely you and I could finish answering all the mylot discussion within a day
A dream is always a dream! How can we answer such an astronomical figures of discussions in a single day! Anyway just try to have some amusement here, to make our posting life here rather funny.
posting and have a nice day.

I don't think it is ever possible to answer all the discussions here in mylot, I mean I just finished responding to one discussion and once I refresh my page, there must be at least 20 new discussions already. I don't think it is ever possible even if we spend the whole day in mylot and if we type really fast. hey, we still need a few minutes to think about our responses hehe

You are right silverglint, no one could answer all the mylot discussions here I supose. What’s more the population has creased from 78 k to 169 k nowadays. Of course the number of discussions will increase tremendously as well.
You are right, once we refresh the same page after responding a post we could find the previous discussions on the first page have been pushed to the second or the further page. It is nice that there are tons of new discussions of various ranks of interests popping up every now and then, so that we have more chances to pick interesting topics to answer.
Have a nice day and happy posting.

It is not possible to respond to all discussions on mylot. Even sometimes it becomes difficult to respond to all discussions started by our dear friends, due to lack of knowledge or may be time also.

You are really great dpk, yeah, it didn’t occur to me totally that we even unable to respond to all the discussions our good friends started, even yours, right? In case I have spare time I would like to try to dig out a couple or more of your old discussion from your discussion started pane later on.
For friends who are diligent and productive in creating discussions, surely I could pick the more interesting ones to answer only. I would feel exhausted to chase after every new discussion one person started, for I don’t have much time spending here.
Happy posting

Hi dpk, I had visited your discussion pane two days back. I think you have seen the rubbish left there If you really don’t like them, you can just take them as recycled materials.
Yeah, it’s really contradictory. We are always happy to see our new discussion receiving lots of responses, but sometimes we feel tired to add comments in all of them in time. I have to pick discussions I’m interested from responders in my discussions to reply as well. I hope my friends won’t blame for my belated comments added.
We would feel rather disappointed if there are lesser responses in our new topic created. Anyway it’s easier and faster as well to leave comments and respond back to friends participating in the same discussions. I like to be the last person who adds comments in the responses in my discussions
Happy posting

HI! Dear!
Yes, you are very much right I also feel guilty when I am not able do justice to my dear friends' discussions. You know some friends are very sweet and they are dear to me, but sometimes despite my best efforts, I miss out to their interesting discussions. It always takes considerable time to chase the discussions, commenting and counter-commenting.
It would be a great idea if you come and respond to my those discussions, which you have not responded so far, you are most WELCOME!
I always prefer posting responses to my friends' discussion and if I am done with then only I look for other discussions. Happy posting!

For me I think it's not possible not because there are too many but some discussions posted up are plain silly and it's not worth my time to respond to it.

Hi eagle, it is really an astronomical figures of discussions found here. And as an ordinary person we could even hardly to answer one tenth of them. Yeah, what we could do is, to choose those which we are interested and within our ability to cope with. Well we have more ideas and feeling to share with if we have picked the right one to answer. I hope mine are not those plain and silly topics as well.
Take care and happy posting.

Hi lkbooi, here I come again in your discussion.
Interesting but one thing you have missed. You didn't say in what period one will start 5 discussions. In an hour or day or week or month.
In an hour: We have only 1 hour that is 3.6k seconds.Even if I will not start a discussion, it will require me to respond 100 discussion per second! Not possible
In one day: We will have 86.4k Seconds. Even if we will take 1 second per discussion then it will require me to answer 4.5 discussion per second. I am not that quick either.
In one week(Only 5 discussion in a week, OK): Well, then we will have 31.5k second. Hmm, then again I will require to post 10 responses per second. That too is way to much for me.
In one month(That is too slow, I don't think mylot admin would like that): Well, now we have 900k second. Now also I will require to answer 4 questions per second! No, I am giving up now.
So, the answer is a straight no!
Good question.

Since it was an old discussion, I hope I am not mistaken I mean, according to the population that time if every user create 5 discussions averagely a day, so there should be the said amount of discussion for a user here to answer.
It didn’t to occur to me totally that you have such great interest to analysis it in such a detailed way. I really appreciate you.
Yeah, of course we couldn’t manage to answer them all. Moreover compare with that 3 years back, the population nowadays has increased tremendously. So we could find tons of new discussions started popping up every second.
What I do is to pick only those interesting ones and to cope with them relaxingly.
Wish you all the best and happy posting.

Well, there was a mistake in that post:
For one week we have 604.8 seconds and for one month we had 1800+ seconds for a discussion.
Sorry but mathematics is tricky even one decimal point missing can lead to disaster lke I did.
Well, 3 years ago when i started, I could see people getting 100+ responses more than often and I have seen one discussion on underwear color getting 1000+ responses. I was luckey that I got 189 responses for one discussion I started and that was on public kissing.
Seems that people were taking interest in controvertial discussions alot those days!

Hi sanuanu, frankly speaking, I am not good in calculating, especially the tricky one. I appreciate you could do it so nicely. Lol I don’t know whether the calculating is correct. It’s just kidding.
I agree with what you are telling here, sanuanu. Yeah, during that time many discussions could receive responses more than a hundred easily. But you couldn’t deny that most of the responses received in the discussions during those earlier days were mostly simple and brief as well. Of course we could see quality responses as well.
I believe that might be an interesting topic, kissing in public. You are really great for creating such good discussion. In my opinion, seems that I have seen that wonderful discussion before. But I have forgotten that whether I have taken part in that topic.
I dislike participating in any controversial discussions, for very often one might get angry if he got negative responses. I prefer having mutual interaction here harmoniously and friendly.
Wish you all the best my friend, and happy posting.

i think yes, it is possible but you have to make sure your responses is good too. i think we don't have the assurance that we can earn that way. we might expect so much earning, but the admin does not approve. so better yet, stay on mylot all day. we will see if you can answer it all..hehee

To be frank donnakristed, I couldn’t, even if there is someone willing to help me. Lol I like to pick topics which I am interested solely, so that I could express my feeling as well as my opinion relevant to the content easily. I usually would type two or more paragraphs for a single response. This actually needs quite some time for choosing favorite topics and typing too.
I believe to submit descriptive contents of posts, we then could earn more than the big quantity of posts we have submitted. So I prefer to answer those favorite posts instead of engrossed in writing simple and brief content only. I enjoy typing posts which I have more ideas to share with the discussion creators. Of course by doing this I could only submit 10 posts or a bit more daily, but I enjoy much for the fun to write posts here relaxingly.
Wish you all the best my friend, and happy posting.

I dont think that one person can answer all of the questions here because that would be too hard and take too long but as a mylot community we might be able too. I go to the posts with no responce sometimes and see what is there and post a responce if I find the topic interesting.

I also agree with you that it would be great to answer all the discussions in myLot. A person can earn a very good amount of money by answering all the questions in myLot. I think practically it is not possible to answer all the discussions because there are lots of discussions in myLot. I think it would take lots of years to answer all the discussions.

we couldn’t answer all the mylot discussions here. We even couldn’t answer all the new discussions started daily. Anyway it is so nice to have such great amount of discussions of different categories available here. This actually provides us more chances to pick whatever topic we are interested.
We don’t have to answer all the discussions available here. We could do how many posts a day just depending on how much time we could consume here, as well as how fast we could complete a post with at least 5 sentences or so. The speed of the network would also affect the speed of loading posts.
Happy posting and have a nice day.

Hello dear lkbooi. I have been here since last May. I think that it is completely impossible to answer all mylot discussions, even my friends' dicussions, even if I do not have to go and work in the office the whole day. It is impossible. Right now I have more than 6000 email notifications for me, but I find that I will never be able to finish doing that job though I am trying to. You know, new discussions keep pouring in every day. At most I can respond to sixty discussions when I have a rest without going to work, I guess, though I have not paid much attention to it. But it is possible to just respond to a single person's discussions one by one from the last page to the first page so that I can remeber which one I have already responded and which I have not. Thanks for this discussion.

Hi dear jisir, I totally agree with you, we are impossible to answer all the discussions here. Even you, a fast person still couldn’t answer all the discussion what’s more a sluggish one like me. Wow! You got such vast amount of email notifications. I wonder how you could entertain them one by one. Anyhow it is a good sign to have such a large number of friends who are so productive. Happy posting and bye.

That would be a task to do, but that seems pretty hard to get it done. I have never known anyone to be able to respond to all the discussions. In order to do something like that, you will need to type fast. You will also need to know how to read fast, and also probably need to be on here all day.

It is impossible, because the number just keeps growing every day, I did see a member who was going to try to hit 1000 posts last friday, I don't know if he did it, but even at that rate and if of the 70000 only 10% posted once a day, he'd still not be able to answer even 20% of the posts.
