I am about to go to Bali. Anyone have any good places they would recommend to visit. Preferably off the tourist trail.

i just went from bali month ago, if you choose bali, you absolutly right! Bali is recommended place to go! It's all in there! from traditional to modern! Yeah, call the tourism services to help you. Kuta, Sanur, Legian are more to modern, many stores there! If you looking for best-traditional-unique souvenirs go to Ubud! The most i love : UBUD! yeah i love ubud.. then you should go to the monkey forest, bali zoo park, new kuta beach, Garuda Wisnu Kencana, Uluwatu, Kintamani, Bedugul, Tanah Lot, Sukawati and Celug for the Silvers jewelry!
Try some Bali cruises fun ship trip to Lembongan island, Nusa dua for parasailing, banana boat, etc..PEnyu island, atc..
have a nice trip!!

yes do lembongan island! it is so romantic there! a very small island and they have nice beachhuts to sleep in! you can see so many fish there! but three or two days is enough!
Bali itself is also great, i went mountainbiking, from above the mountain, you go to all the small villages so pretty! have a nice trip!
