As I am a gym freak who stresses the point to work out atleasr 3 hours per day, I again find myself with injured knees. The last time I went to the doctor he told me I need an arch support so it would prevent my knees from always bloating with water whenever I do my work outs or classes. I think this is a common problems for athletes. I am hard headed and I guess scared of gaining weight so I just carry on with my usual load of work outs. I do wear an open patela knee support but I find it hard to look for an arch support which makes my knees still bloated end of the day. I do ice packs and warm compresses but still need to swallow an arcoxia medicine once in awhile. This is the medicine for people who has problem with athritis. What you think I could do to solve this problem? I love to dance and do my classes in the gym..but sometimes my knees cant take it anymore.

I suggest that you have a second opinion regarding your knee problem. It might lead to a bigger problem if the injury keeps on recurring. When you work out, make sure that you don't put any more stress to your injured knees.
