Hillary Clinton as President

This is just a gender based voting question. For all the women out there (and men feel free to answer as well) would you vote for Hillary Clinton just because she is a woman? And do you think men would NOT vote for her for the same reason?
One of my co-workers asked me this. Personally I would not vote for any candidate based on gender. I do think however that a man might. Men have been in power for so long that they might see woman as a threat to the "balance of things". I thought about this for a long time and do not really think I am being gender biased. It is a fact that men and women think differently.
So what is your opinion?

No I would not vote for Hillary Clinton just because she is a woman. Yes I feel that at some point we do need a female president - but it has to be the right person. I refuse to vote for someone based on gender or what party they represent. They need to have the same values and morals that I believe. They need to stand for something. They need to have a plan. There is so much more than gender or even party.

I agree, but I think gender is going to be a big issue for alot of people. Thanks for your response!
