Do you think that cassettes are totally out?

Although I still have all my old cassettes, I do think that cd's have taken there place along with all the other new technology we have today.

No, I don't think they are totally out...people are still using them to digitally transfer the music contained on these on their PC, and then they through them away, lol:P. Otherwise, they should left aside, because the digital music is far easier to listen to and has a supreme quality. No more hisses or other noises in the loudspeaker.
