How many of us here on MyLot have our own website or blog?
Would you care to share it with others so that we can visit and check it out and maybe join in?
I am not going to promote anything for myself right now as I do not want this discussion seen as for my own benefit -- but please feel free to post your link as well as a description of what your website or blog is all about.

Well I actually have a few websites. They all are for different reasons too. My one Emeraldisle's On-Line Earning Center is for all my referral links and it's listed in my profile on here. My other sites are a bit different.
EJ's Universe: http://emeraldisles.us is for all my creations like wallpapers, websets, screensavers, etc
Another Realm: http://emeraldisles.us/anotherrealm/ is a fan site for shows dealing with the strange and unusual
Awareness: http://emeraldisles.us/awareness/ is a site for all the issues I feel strong about.

Wow you have really put alot of work and passion into your sites ~ and it shows!
I enjoyed roaming around and checking all three sites out - I like them all - you made all the wallpapers, etc? You did one GREAT job with this. I've bookmarked your sites so I can revisit later.

Thank you. I'm glad you liked the sites. Yes I made the wallpapers and the websets. I love to play with paint shop pro. I need to make up some more calendars for 2007 but it takes time :) Probably do that one day this week.

I own a website, www.quadium32.com
It is very simple, but I coded it myself through PHP and HTML, so i feel good about it. Someone told me about some sort of color problem, if any of y'all notice one please let me know so I can figure out where its from and how to fix it.
I am planning on starting my own business there soon, a game with prizes and stuff. As of now its just a for fun site with games and fun tools and other interesting stuff I've done in my spare time.

cool ~ I went and and gave it a quick look for right now. Will have to go back and wander around a bit.
I think the "color problem" is that their is too much contrast between the bright reddish/orange and blueish/purple text -- you may want to calm the colors down to be a bit less intense and make it easier on the eyes. With the high contrast it if just harder to read. With more sedate colors it may hold your visitors interest longer as it will be easier to focus and read through. Hope that helps.

Thanks, I think I may have figured it out. I tried changing the body text from font color=black to font color=#000000, that way it will be more likely to come out as black on more computers. On my comp it has shown up as black, but Its probably because of the browsers that I was using.

I like both sites Joey ~ your blog is done well and your thoughts can be quite intense! It is nice to have a spot all your own to express yourself - and you do it so well.
I hope you gain some new serious members to your site - you've put alot of work and effort into it and it does deserve to be "discovered."

Looks like you have a great start. Plus you have a good related link as well. I think both should attract visitors as weight and diabetis are such hot topics these days. So many people struggle with both. You may just want to give more links for places to go for info.
