What does it mean? What would you do?

If you happen to be in your partner's garage/store room and you see some old pictures and paraphernalia of his Ex/s in a box, how would you take it?

I wouldn't have liked having pictures of my husband's ex around, but we have a lot of pictures of his children back during the days before I met him. That is okay, of course. I think I still have 1 or 2 pictures of my ex around somewhere, but my brother gave them to me, I didn't keep them.

for i'll keep those pictures because they once became part of my life, i once loved them and some of them brought the best of me.. like i changed for good because (at least one of) them, that changed me to be who i am now... but if it will ruin my current relationship with my girlfriend or wife, i won't hesitate to throw 'em out or burn 'em... (have to live with present not with past anyways) =:)

I would find out why he has kept them and try to remember that his exes were a part of his life and pictures contain memories...granted I may not want him to remember her, but I have a couple pictures of my ex.

Well, that wouldn't happen to me anyway because my partner doesn't have that kind of thing, nor has he ever had his own garage! But, I guess, if that happened to me, I would just assume he hadn't thought to clear it out. I wouldn't think anything of it really. I'd ask him what he was going to do with it and then, if he didn't say either, throw it away or see if his ex wanted any of it back, then I might get a bit suspicious and want to know why he wanted to keep it.

Then I'd ask him why. I'd want to know exactly what was in there. I guess keeping one or two things would be ok depending what they were. But if it's just pictures and stuff, then he wouldn't want to keep it if he's over his ex and want s to be with you.

In all honesty it wouldn't bother me especially at my age. You have to assume that people have had some sort of past unless you are a teen, and perhaps some of the photos have some sentimental value?
