Yes I believe, but I do not take that declaration lightly. At times it can take everything in me to stay the course. To obey Jesus can in itself be a sacrifice. He calls us to take up our cross and follow him. That may seem hard, but he also promises the strength to do His will. "Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose."
