I have always respected the religions of other people, even when they are different than my own. The only time I become upset is when they try to force their beliefs on me and/or won't stop when I tell them that I am not interested. I don't see this as any different than any other beliefs on which people often differ. We must agree to disagree and move on!

I respect a person's religious beliefs but I may not always agree with them. The only time that I don't respect someone's beliefs is if they use their religion as an excuse to treat someone or a group of people in a cruel way or if they try to force their beliefs on someone else. I think that people can disagree with eachother on their beliefs because there's no way that everyone can agree on everything. But as long as it's done in a respectful and compassionate way I don't see anything wrong in disagreeing.

Sometimes standing for what you believed in can be misinterpreted as disrespect. Like for me, as much as I respect other beliefs, I have to also stand for what I believed in as the right thing. I think it is up to how you express and show how you disagree with others beliefs that matters the most. If you can be able to let them see stuff in a most respecting way, you may be able to sway them on your side. But again, this does not work all the time because those who already knew they are in the wrong just for the sake of pride tries to justify still their belief.
