I didn't--- 'Son of a Witch was mostly just a story, wehereas in 'Wicked: The Life and Times of the WIcked Witch of the West', Maguire had a lot of RALLY profound things to say.
Was there one book that you preferrred over the other, or do you like them both equally? Was there one or more that you didn't like AT ALL? If so, why?

I liked Wicked better, the telling of any story from a different perspective is always good. With Son of a Witch, I felt like something bigger was always about to happen, so I kept reading.
I have In To The Woods, which I think is about Snow White, but since Son Of A Witch was such a let down, I just can't get into it. Any one else read this one?

Just wanted to add - the Wicked play was really really REALLY good. If you get a chance to see it, I highly recommend it - and buy the sound track too!
It would make a great movie - Narnia style!

I liked it better. :) His Cinderella story was even better. I think it was Tales of an Ugly Step Sister or something like that....
