How do you envision god?

Whether we believe in a god or not, we usually have an idea in our head of what and how god is. Even if a person is arguing against god, they usually have a concept of what they are arguing against. Regardless of whether or not you believe in a god, how would you describe god? Is it the god of the Bible or another religious text? Is it a more detached, undefined consciousness? How do you define god?

God I think is Light .. "Noor" as we call it in our language... Light of knowledge. I hope you're getting my meaning. He does not possess a special form. Like I don't think He has got hands , or feet, eyes, nose,or anyhting like that. Nor do I think He needs Food,Water or anything else. God cannot make mistake. The moment a God makes a mistake, he ceases to be God... It's really like hard to imagine a definite shape or anything. But it's just that we know that there's someone Who has gone Immense and uncomparable power .One who can do anything. Butt I don't think that we can really envision God..

I only have two things to say. 1) God is neither male or female (as what they would like to have us believe). God is life and life is God. Everything around us is God. The trees, grass, beach, mountains etc. 2) If one cannot see God in men, one cannot see God at all (which is why it is sad when people fight over religion or race .... if only they would see that we are all from the same source). What I have always called "God" is the essence of harmony in the world. It is the laws of nature, the beauty of reason and logic. I do not see God as a separate being, but a collective being, with each of us being spokes on the same wheel and God being the name of the wheel.

God is a supernatural being that people have created in their own image. This being is used as a substitute for knowledge by people who prefer to be told what to believe.

I think God is ALL, everything, I dont' think God has a physical form as much as a spiritual body. I don't even think there is a time and space for God. I think God is just there. Kind of like Love is just there. We can't find love, love is just what we all imagine it to be. Any picture we have in our hearts or minds is what God is. to us. Gee, I sound like a weirdo here, but anyways, I'm trying. ;)
