Have you tried Nikon 18-200 vr lens

I think this could be a good all-in-one lens for my camera, but it is not so cheap.. so I would like to hear something about it by someone who tried it.
In particular, I would like to know how much does the vr work. What kind of exposition can you take with it?
Second, a question for people that have bougth this lens: are you satisfied, would buy it again?

I have the 70x300mm lens without vr, cause I can't afford to get the really good lenses yet! But I have a friend who has the lens you're talking about, and if you have the money to get something like that, go for it!
You can get excellent portraits and shoot events with a lens like that, and get some decent wildlife too.
