I'm 51 and would like to learn Spanish. But, I feel so senile some days, that I don't think I would be able to remember words like I use to, lol. I took French in junior high for 3 years and have already forgotten most of what I learned. I thought of Spanish, because there are so many Hispanics where I live and I would like to be able to converse with fellow co-workers and customers. The second language I'd like to learn is Italian. That is a beautiful language to me.

You are not too old to learn. Our ability to learn stays with us longer than we think. If you have learnt French, you already have had some training in a latin language and it is still stored in your brain.
When I studied I used to eat ginseng that really helped me to remember better but nowadays I take cold presse fish oil, omega3 which our brain needs to function with full capacity (almost-:o)
Happy learning!
