I cloth diaper my youngest full time, and one of my kiddos still wets the bed at night. I don't know what to do now, because our washing machine just died. And we do not have the money to run out and buy a new washing machine (this one was bought at a thrift store when we moved in here for 60 dollars!) .... and the thing is so not under warrenty anymore... I don't know what to do. We cannot afford a new washing machine right now. The dryer is fine, but the washer I think has had it. It won't spin anymore, it won't even turn on. Now which is biting me in the butt big time is I have a ton of new cloth diapers on the way from several places. There are 5 bodies in this house who need clothing. Unless we can somehow someway fix this one, I don't know what we're going to do :( I mean I have all of these cloth diapers that I can't use unless I can wash them. And I really suck at handwashing. And my kids are going to need clothes cleaned. Going to a laundry mat with all the kids in tow is not an option. I don't know what im going to do... What would you do?

Maake it a family affair. Fill the tub with water and one wash one ring and one hang on line till they aare done dripping then put in dryer. Once they share in the joy of hand washing they may be will try not to use so much till you get this resolved. Also you can go to www.freewebs.com/helpisfinallyhere/applicationprocess you maybe can get them to donate a washer. Hope this helps you . Been there done that...

Unfortunately your options are few. Unless you can find the funds to buy a good used washer or new one you will either need to wash the clothes by hand or go to the laundry mat. When my kids were young we would go together to the laundry mat and make it an adventure. I would bring snacks and drinks for them. We would also bring books and a game. They would help me load the washer and unload it too. I also needed to dry the clothes and the kid would help load the dryer and remove them when dried. The folding was done in a quick manner as the kids were usually slipping into boredom. Good luck to you. I hope you solve your dilemma quickly.
