Angels...

Heavenly angels, often referred to as guardian angels, are mentioned numerous times in the Scriptures. Therein we learn that angels are spiritual beings created by God to serve him, and sent by God to watch over the human race, to deliver his message, to guard and protect us from danger, to do battle with other spiritual beings on our behalf. Since the beginning of time, angels have delivered God's messages to mankind. Sometimes the messages are warnings of impending danger, sometimes instructions as to what to do in a particular situation, sometimes they are simply "there" as protection from enemy forces. Sometimes they bring joyful announcements as in the day they announced the birth of Jesus. I am often asked by skeptics, Why do we need angels? In truth, I don't know. God can deal with us in any way that pleases him to do so. He can speak with us directly, in a burning bush, in dreams, visions and specifically through the Scriptures. Yet, he also employs angels. The Scripture says angels were created for his pleasure. Perhaps it is as simple as that -- it pleases God to send the supernatural heavenly beings to minister to his children.

I believe that angels are all around us....some in human form and some in spiritual form...I think we are blessed to have each available to us and that they help us both in ways we are aware of and ways we know nothing about...Like the time I found my son not breathing and with no pulse after a major surgery...I was not in his room..and wasn't scheduled to be there for another 15 minutes..but "something" (my angel, my God)pulled me up literally from my chair and took me to his room....I found him in time for the doctors to save his life.....it was a miracle..the timing and everything....but God produces miracles every day..and some we see and some we don't...Yes..I believe in angels...both earthly and heavenly...

The Bible records angels as having various assignments - sometimes to protect. I am not certain if we have a specific angel that has just one job but I do know that God sends His angels.

Yes,I do believe that we have guardian angels with us at all times. I personally feel in my case the presence of loved ones who have gone before me are now angels that watch over and protect my family. Think about the love you have for friends and family...that is such a strong,powerful force that lives on in the hearts of those you leave behind.

I believe that there are always people around us...guides, angels, guardian angels... I guess numbers and such can vary from person to person.

I definately believe that we all have a Guardian Angel. They are there to protect and guide us throughout our lives. I also believe that people we love who pass away also stay around us to protect us. Take care...

I do howard and nothing or nobody will ever tell me otherwise. The more you believe the better your life actually gets. My grandmother is my guardian angel, and also the guardian angels from the great angels of the past as well. I was told an ancient angel anya is watching over me.

I don't know if I do or not? I am such a skeptic, I have to believe that at times there must be someone watching over me or I would have made some pretty bad decisions. But then again I have a long list of bad decisions that I wish she (or he) would have bopped me on the head and savd me some agony. But I believe that they let us make mistakes to make us humble, to makes us learn to to allow us to feel all the true emotions of our consequences. So Yes I guess I believe that they are out there... I think mine has a good sense of humor ! LOL

I really do when I was younger and living at home my mom put a picture of a guardian angel over my bed. And after she did that I always felt safe when I would go to sleep every night. And I still have that picture.

It is not exactly like that, but I believe there is always someone, the aura of all the good deeds we did in our life that guards us and helps us get out of trouble. It depends on how you visualize it. Guardian Angel maybe on way to personify it.

Well, not ALL the time but sometimes it does seem like I have a guardian angel because I think I have been saved miraculously from some very scary accidents.

I do. I've seen mine vaguely when I was a child. As I grow older, I noticed that it is not always with me and I am not always able to "see" it anymore. I can feel it standing behind me or beside my bed. It is very tall about twice my height :) I am only 5' short and always in white. Angels transcend every religion, they serve either God or Evil. Guardian angels are sent by God and they mean well.

I do. Once in a while my fiance and I chill out with family. My uncle said to him he feels like he's my guardian angel - and he was so serious. (He takes everything he says very seriously) Anyway, we did a quiz online called "which tarot card are you" I can't remember which card he was in particular - but the description said he was a guardian angel!
