lose weight where to start

i am a size 16 and would like to go back down to a size 10 but where do i start. my boyfriend keeps moaning about me 2 lose weight, put it like this i wana lose weight for me and not for him so with him moaning doesnt help. ok i start with the junk which i love and know i have to cut down, but i also smoke, i have stoped smoking a lot in the last 3 days. i have smoke only 3 cigg in the last 3 day 2 of them are roll ups.but it drive me made when all i hear is him negging to lose weight, what would u do if ur boyfriend told u to lose weight, a i wana lose it and plus where getting married next year so i dont want 2 look fat on the big day :o(

I think that the first and most important thing that you must do is decide whether you are doing this for you as this is what the key to success really is! Once you have decided that you do in fact want to do this for you i think that the best way to go about it is WATER!! Drink alot of water and go for walks and get active and stay active. Also you can even try a soup diest where you only stick to soup for a few days and then eat regular for two and go back to strictly soup. As well as yur fruits and vegetables but be sure to eliminate the thins that you do not need. Remember eating healthy does not mean that you are losing out. Healthy food can be just as good. For example if you are craving sweets eat strawberries or even watermelon! If you are craving jerky or chips make some popcorn with no butter or salt or some good chicken !! thank you i will just do that. also it is for me i want to lose, i use to be a size 10 5 yrs ago, so from then till now i dont know what happen.

There is no miracle cure for weight lose. Just like quitting smoking, it takes will-power and a life change. I would recommend not doing both at the same time, however. Just because the stress of it will most likely make you go back into the other one.
Losing weight takes a lot of work! I recommend a diet change. You have to look at CALORIE intake, and make sure you're burning more calories than you take in. Also, stay away from any junk, even low-fat and diet crap. They usually contain more sugar, which will inhibit weight lose. WALK WALK WALK!!! Walk a few times a day, for 45 minutes to an hour. This will help tremendously!
Good luck! And don't do it for your boyfriend. He should want you to lose weight so that you can be healthy for the rest of your lives, not just because he wants a skinny wife.
