I agree, but why punish everyone. I dont play that often, but when I do, I like the thrill of playing with real money. I'm by no means addicted. I've spent $25 on my site in the last 3 months. Well i won $1800 but thats besides the point. Why should the millions of online players who keep it under control, or even do it for a living (some of my friends), pay for the few who cant control it?

There are many who do not have your will power..My niece just got out of jail for embezzling...she was stealing money from her employer to gamble..Part of her parole includes no gambling even on line..she has no control. But people like her aside..there are some who just aren't that bright and lose money because they are clueless. Someone has got to protect them...if you one that much money..I would say you are one of the lucky ones..

You can play online poker for fun. Its called play money. You can enter tournaments with it and many other things. Online poker is for fun. They also offer the real money option for RESPONSIBLE adults. They also limit the amount of money you can deposit in a day and week so addicts cant blow all there money!!

Some sites are already pulling out of the US market. Dont worry though, others have found a loop hole!! The site I play on has informed me that they are continuing business as usual, and that us online players have nothing to worry about!!!

I don't really understand the point of it. Why are law makers so insistent on on banning gambling? I just don't understand it. I'm not even a gambler. It seems like some sort of moral correction that's almost puritanical. I don't like it.
