I have recently started the WW program, but I do not go to the meetings. I am doing it by myself at home. It is very hard to find "normal foods", not the WW foods, to eat and still stay in your point range. Does anyone have any suggestions on everyday foods that one could eat on the WW diet? Any suggestions will help. Thank you!

did you by chance get the books that outline the program? They have a great points book that encompasses regular foods found in everyone's local market or even in your own refrigerator...It lists points for each...it really is a helpful tool ...I don't think I could make it without it!!! Are you just following the program from a distance or did you actually join? If you joined that should be part of the information included in the program...If you are an online person you might locate a meeting site and drop in to pick up that "points guide"...it's really essential to tallying your daily intake!!! Best of luck and good for you to start making those changes....Tomorrow's my beginning...and I'm actually looking forward to it..it will make me feel better phsically and mentally!!!

You can eat lots of food, as one poster suggested look at dwlz.com for restaurants. You cannot eat like you used to. Look for light bread at the supermarket because it's only 1 point, look for 100 calorie packs because those are a nice snack and they are only 2 points. Ask your sister to buy you some of those weight watcher bars, they have some for 2 and 1 points. Healthy Choice, Lean Cuisine, and Smart Ones all have the point values on their meals. You just have to look on some of them really good. They aren't placed in the most obvious place. I believe that Healthy Choice meals are very good, and they have lots of vegetables with many of them. At McDonalds try the Asian Chicken Salad (I believe it is around 6 or 7 points with the dressing and all the stuff on it. Get it with Grilled chicken), Yogurt Parfait (3 points), or Grilled Chicken Sandwich (without mayo is 7 points I believe). DWLZ.com tells point values for restaurants if you want to know. A banana is two points, a cup of strawberries is one point. There are so many options, if you look on the weight watcher's website they have recipes you can make that are low in fat. They have some soup recipes that are very good. I hope that helps. Have a nice day. Pablo

I eat anything I want and buy very little WW foods. I use the point calculator and the book as a guideline. Try this site as well: www.dwlz.com
