Someone's about to commite suicide

If someone ever approached you and told you there were thinking about committing suicide, how would you respond?

I would calm them down and make sur I did not leave their side and than I would get them help by calling the proper authorities. Now a days when someone says that it can not be ignored.

ooo i will ask humbly wats going rong in his life which compels him to do so..i will try to help him out for sure in nay way i can.,..i will support him morally, emotionally ...

I would be a friend and ask them why and try to help them the best that I could with thier problem and pray with them and for them
