i could go on and on about those annoying teenage children of mine.,, but i was just wondering if there is one common thing that we as parents can agree to be annoyed with! I'll start with the "lack of conversation" that i get from my 17 year old. He must think I don't have a flipping brain or anything of importance to say in or about his life

Well I would say with one of my teenagers it would be the constant argueing . If I don't agree with her on everything then I must be wrong . Like you said as if I had no brain and couldn't figure out on my own that she is not always right .
I hate the constant figthing all the time with her on just about every subject . And when she finds out I was right she says "Oh well " .

I would also have to say the attitude. Also, rolling the eyes, hand in my face, slamming the doors, stomping, huffing and puffing and that one word that always sounds like nails on a chalkboard to me...."WhatEVER". Yes, I'm the mother of 2 beautiful, inteligent, (very mouthy), independant, darling teenage daughters.

how about that "whatever",,,! if I have to hear that word one more time! Wow, maybe if we had them as teenagers from the first moment, there would be no more population. I use to wish my kids were older when they were toddlers, wanting them to be more independent, and not so needy.. now i just wish they were that way again. Or 25 years old, one or the other,,,
