Have you ever sang Karaoke?

I've always wanted to know how it would be to sing in a front of a bunch of strangers? I'm always singing in my shower or when i'm alone. I don't think i have enough nerves to get up on the stage and actually try to sing in front of people. Alot of people say i can sing really well. Has anyone ever tried singing Karaoke before, in front of stangers at a local bar, maybe on hoildays in front of loves ones? If you have tried please tell me were you nervous? Did someone pressure you to go on stage? How did you feel after you were done performing? Did anyone BOO you off of the stage??
