I live in Texas, and have been praying for a good freeze/snowstorm to come and stay and last for atleast 3 days. I have prayed this for 5 years. Well.. this past winter we got near 5 days of freeze. Killed off a lot of bugs :D good for me!.. I think we are suppost to get more snow tommorrow as well... hmmmm... I hope so :)

I don't like snow...Had my fill of it in Illinois...I would rather have sunshine and warm weather.....and a nice rain shower now and then but snow is just to cold for me..I wouldn't want to be in it again.....

Hey, cool to hear someone that's having the same thing happen to them as me. It makes the internet feel a little less distant. It's Sunday night and we've had like 7-8 inches and it's still snowing and going to snow all night. My daughter is excited because she pretty much knows there's not going to be any school tomorrow(which means no work for me) I don't think my husband will even make it to Kohler and he hasn't missed a day of work there in like a year and a half.lol!

A city in New York that's right on one of the Great Lakes got 100 inches of snow in one storm this winter. It's been absolutely crazy. Here in North Texas, we had a complete weather turnaround. One week it was in the 60's and 70's, and the very next week it was snowing! And, while I enjoy snow, I don't like missing school because of it.
