I can say that i have both. But based on my conversations with my peers, it is always on the skills that they were able to survive. There are lots of degree holder nowadays that dont have work and even belong to poverty line. for me we cant choose just one of them to be able to be successful we need both. for me success came form ninety percent skills nad ten percent intelligence. you cnat make use of your knowledge with the will do use it and you cannot just stand by your knowledge to be able to sustain in real like.

I think it's not a question of which one is better, but a question of whether either intellect or skill is maximized or potentially used. For example, an intellectual person may not use his intellect well; or a skillful person may not use his skills to the max. In my case, I could say that I've always treaded on the intellectual path, but I can also say that I have people skills. I think that the latter I have learned to maximize which helped me land important jobs. The intellect is a plus. Thus, it's what a person holds and maximizes that is important. Very good discussion!
