The Right to Arm Yourself?

Do you agree tha it is your god given right to be able to have a firearm in your home. I live in the UK and and never agreed with this. I have always blamed that law as one of the reasons gun crimes in th USA are so high. Dont get me wrong everyman has the right to defend his castle and family but when the laws are so relaxed, guns end up in the wrong hands, such as youths or even adults who just dont know how to use them. In london right now we have seen in the last 3 weeks a number of teenagers being killed in gun crimes. I truly beleive that guns cannot be placed in the homes of inexperienced men as it can only lead to more bloodshed and tears being spilled. The first time guns were put into our police hands they shot and killed a man on the underground for looking suspicious because he had a so called back pack on. This proves why it cannot work.
