I beleive anything is possible as the power of prayer is a very powerful tool . And the more people that pray for a person shows God how much this person is loved in life .

Yes, group prayers can help the sick from his ailment. He is given the strength and the courage to face whatever happens. His immune system would be strenthened and he may well if his immune system is able to overcome whatever is giving him the illness. Praying is one way to worship God. We talk to God thru prayers where we petition to God to grant us whatever we need. God talks to us thru the Holy Bible
