I think Judas was the person who betrayed Jesus. He preferred money over friendship. Maybe he was over confident that Jesus will perform a miracle and free himself. © ronaldinu 2008

Judas was one of the 12 apostles chosen by the Lord Jesus Christ. The treasury or box where the money for the ministry of the Lord was kept was entrusted to him. In short, he holds the money. However, his faith was weak that he was stealing the money. Because his faith was weak, it was very easy for Satan to enter his heart and betrayed the Lord. It was prophesied that somebody would betray the Lord but it was never prophesied that it was Judas who would do this. It was Judas himself who chose to do such act because he lacks faith and so he betrayed the Lord. It is important that the followers of the Lord Jesus Christ have faith or belief in the Lord and in God so that Satan could not enter into their hearts.
