Dear MyLotters, yesterday was a lesson for me. I thought it only matters for a response to get good money if it is lenghty and a quality post. There is another factor that i observed. Please let me know whether this phenomenon is because of the speed or some other factor.
I have give responses on a tabbed browser and speed was a phenomenon 30 responses per hour. During the same time i received a SCRIPT ERROR!!
But then when my earnings were updated i saw that i was paid the least in all of the days that i have been here.
For 61 responses i was paid only $0.55
Please help me on this and have you been experiencing the same.
I have been reading all of the discussions and responding accordingly.
Is it true that SPEED KILLS US ON MYLOT??

Hmm, maybe its how you respond to any discussions here at mylot in my opinnion and frankly speaking, if you want to earn more, just be patient in answering such responses and maybe try to open a discussion of yours and maybe this might help you increase your earnings. Hope this help.

During resopnding to discussions, we must keep ourslves form all sorts of artificialities from all angles. The facts we express in our responses must be logically co-reating to the main disussion. All facts must be true and well percevable by a common man. Discussions with well known topis should always be chosen for response. As per speed, it creates loss of quality in responses since our deep thinking is affected by responding hurrily to a discussion. Whatever may be the topic, our grasp over it and accurately responding it is very important for maintaining quality in responses. Thanks.

that is amazing.you should have been given atleast $1.5 Are you sure that all your responses had been submitted.I am asking this because you said that you received a script error. What i possibly think is most of your responses werent submitted .This might have been the reason that you got less money.did you check it out with the number you have in the brackets.if everything was fine then i think one even needs to start a discusiion along with answering discussions.

I tend to agree with you. I have just started account with mylot after being suggested by my wife. She plays frequently on mylot as well. Although I had little amount currently I believe it will grow as I post quality posts. I used to reply and making posts a lot in the other forum, except those forums did not pay me for it. Ever since I came to mylot, it change my view.

I hate to break it to you. Buty adding tags doe snot make a difference in earning money. Adding tags make sit easier for other users to find the discussion so you can earn money when they comment thou.

I have never noticed this before but am not sure how many I post in an hour . I probably don't get that many done as I am always up chasing someone or getting something to eat or drink .
I type really fast and could do that much in an hour if I wanted to and wouldn't want to be penalized for being a fast typer .
I have noticed that some days I post more and don't get as much as the days I post less on though . Not sure what the reason for that is as I always try to answer the best I can .

Your post is very interesting. I never really look at this at all. After all, being new, and trying to understand the site better. I'd also try to find out in the days to come. Let's see if your analysis is right.

Well I have been a member here for 6 months and the earnning system keeps changing. You could be possibliy right that the faster you go the less you get but it doesnt really seem like that to me. There has been somedays I have done as many as 250 post and gotten payed well but then there where others where I didnt get as much.

i dont think speed can kill ur earning but what i have experienced if u do 100 responses your earning would be near about 1$. its not a parameter but what i calculated. its keeps changing everytime. If your discussion atteracts many responses it might helps you to earn good rather than your reply in others discussion.

It very well could be the reason for the low pay for that day. I have never responded to that many, that fast and have never gotten that responce. Try doing it slower the next day and the same amount and see what the responce is. Experiment and have fun.

Oops, that wasn't very good was it? But ygkchaitu, you earn based on your responses and not the number. So if your responses were not long and qualitative, then you can consider them no good. Mylot always emphasizes on quality than quantity. Even if you make a 100 posts a day, but all only one or two sentences long, its not worthwhile at all. Try making longer responses and you will see the difference. Y'day I made only 10 posts and I earned $0.55. I was surprised since I wasn't expecting that much!

That is sure interesting. I say if you post good quality posts then it should not matter how quickly you do so. It takes me a bit to read someones discussion, think about what I want to add, type it (thats the quickest) and go on to another. I seem to be getting just about the same amount each day- But I resply to about the same amount too.
Try posting to 60 but doing it slower throughout the day and see how you make out- Just could be they think you're copying and pasting??

Wow, I have received .57 for around 35 comments and 3 posts. Surely speed doen't effect earnings negatively. These folks who post a dozen or more topics one right after the other with such things as: What is your favorite fast food? Then, what is your favorite car? Then, what is your favorite pet? If they can earn money posting this sort of crap, posting rapidly shouldn't make a difference.

Whew, 30 responses in an hour! well at least you got $0.55 for all that, i think mylot has their own algorithm or own payment system with regards to our posts. Up unitl now i really dont get it, i dont even get it if its past 24 hrs already or when is the cut off time for the posts since i live on a different time zone from the US. But nevertheless, I still try to pour out my heart to responding to the discussions posted here. A lot of members here at mylot would really be appreciate an honest response, this is what makes this community work. I think speed plus quality is what you need to earn more here at mylot.

it could be how u r are rated by some of the other mylot users. just bc ur answers are lengthy, some people will see that and give u a negative rating if they dont like ur answer and this could effect u on how u get paid.

I personally haven't noticed this before. But then, I don't take note of how many I post in an hour anyway.
I do try to keep note of how many I post in a day though. It helps to know roughly how many I can comfortably do in a day without wearing myself down at all.
I also like to take a break every couple of hours too. Being sat in front of the PC for long amounts of time hurts the eyes and can permanently damage them if we don't take proper precautions.
Just try to make sure you give good quality posts and answers and don't worry about how many you do in a day. Mylot is for most of us, primarily making friends and contributing to discussions without worrying about how much we make.
