What I do to clean stubborn stains in the bathroom and kitchen is: sprinkle baking soda over the area, then put some vinegar in a spray bottle and spray that over the top. It should all bubble up and fizzle. After about a minute or so, wipe away and any stains should come with it. If its in the grout between the tiles, do the same thing and use an old toothbrush to scrub it out. Wipe it over with a damp cloth and viola! Good as new!

wow! thanks for the info.Ü haven't heard of that yet. is that more effective than using chemicals or products you could buy in the market?

Yeah, it works just as well, if not better, than most cleaning products. Plus, it works out much cheaper than buying a heap of different things. I've got this whole book of using standard household items for cleaning. :) Did you know the best way to clean off blood is using the saliva of the person who's blood it is? Handy for cleaning little spots, but not neccesarily a whole room...hehehe....

I have to agree here. Baking soda and vinegar are the most effective household cleaners avaiable, and by far the cheapest. The only thing they dont clean is the smell of burnt popcorn from a microwave :o(

I use clorox clean up! I get rid of koolaid stains on my counters in the kitchen. I use it in the bathroom and it gets the mildewy look out of my tile. You do have to scrub still but it is the only one that really wokred for me.
