I'm looking at getting a 1995 pontiac sunfire se. I don't know anything about this type of car. My dad was a ford machanic so he doesn't know a lot about them either. This car is used and has 144,000 miles and they're asking $1900 or best offer. My dad has only found small minor things wrong with it. It heats up really fast also. It just had the spark plugs, head gasket and water pump replace. It is a reparable. The work that was done on it seems to be good.
Is this a good car? Is it supposed to heat up fast? Is it worth what they are asking for from what I told you?

that is alot of miles on that dependin on the engine wether or not it is a good car, and if it sover heating then u had better not buy it and 1900 is a little steep i would definatly talk them down some

Have you checked oil color? Coolant level? For leaks? At what position does the heat gauge sit? Does the electric cooling fan come on or work? These can be good running and driving cars, but with high miles 1900. is to steep. Take care Bigmomma736.
