Do anyone else's kids LOVE The Little Mermaid?

i dont have any children myself but i remember when i was ounger the Little mermaid was my favourite. i love it still.. i hope that my daughter loves it too

I don't know any kid who doesn't like it, but just didn't know my kids would ONLY like it. lol I put on Doug this morning, nope, no interest. Saturday we tried putting on Aladin, nope, didn't care. It's funny though how many adults also like the Little Mermaid, somehow they really captured an audience.

In 26 years old and I still love The Little Mermaid.I was 9 years old whe it came out and i was obssessed with it that time.The story and the music was amazing,still amazing.Ariel was the first gorgeous disney princess ans she rocks!Part of your World is oneof my favorite song.There are i think 2 sequel to The Little Mermaid and its called The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea (with Ariel's daughter Melody) and The Little Mermaid III (nov 2007).

Well, okay, I have to admit it is definitely one of my favorites too.....and I'm almost 30. =) So I don't blame them for liking it, just think it's funny that they will ONLY sit and watch that movie. Of course it probably doesn't help that I play the soundtrack in the car sometimes too. hehe

My daughter was hooked on it also!! My other daughter who is 18 months,is hooked on Curious George, it is the only time during the day she will sit perfectly still & stare at the TV. If any other show is on, she ignores it.

Yep, that's mine, I have tried every other movie, Disney and non Disney I can think of and nothing catches their attention like The Little Mermaid. Funny how they just latch on to one thing and it sticks. My daughter is that way about her stuffed zebra too, she carries it everywhere! Thanks for your post!

My 4 yr. old daughter likes the little mermaid but her 4 yr. old cousin is obsessed with Ariel. She must have all things Ariel(clothes, toys, even her undies). She loves to sing and dance to the music too!

This was my favorite movie as a kid! I was addicted to the Little mermaid, and my cousin, who is 11 days younger than me, was addicted to Beauty and the Beast. We would always fight over which one was better! If our moms would even look at the movie that we weren't addicted to, we thought our mom liked our cousin better! haha We were always fighting!
