I have really long hair except that mine is straight. I would like it to be curly but I will never get a perm because I do not want to damage it. I am stuck curling it with curlers if I want this effect. I often think about cutting my hair but I just can't do it.

In order not to have split ends have your hair trimmed 2 inches per month then when you don't have split ends anymore you can grow your hair long then have the tips curled.

Get a regular trim to get rid of split ends. Also get regular treatments like hot oil, hair spa to make your hair healthier. My friends are saying to put mayonnaise on your hair for 5 minutes and rinse and it helps out a lot. Virgin coconut oil can be used the same way. In no time, your hair should be better.

my friend's long straight hair once got so dry and it appeared really lifeless. she didn't want to cut it, she just wanted to do something about its lost glory so she went to the parlor and had the middle half of the bottom part curled. it looked really nice compared to the previous hair she was sporting.
anyway, i think your hair just needs heavy conditioning and unless every strand of it splits big time, i don't think those will be noticed when you already get them curled.
by the way..u got nice hair there, huh!

hi bethel,
you can surely try steaming, by covering your hair with a hot towel after oiling your hair....please keep your hair tied at the time of their growth.its really important and helps to prevent you present hair from getting damaged by weather conditions.

i know it costs a fortune but redken is the only shampoo and conditioner that works for my thin dry hair. it actually works miracles, and I save up the money because the shampoo is so good that I don't need to go to the hairdresser as often. it jsut looks good anyway!! It's worth it!
