I'm looking for suggestions for freezing home made meals that I can make, freeze and serve latter. I know most anything can be frozen and served later but, I would like to hear from people who have some simple, proven tips for cooked meals that can be frozen and served latter. On busy days or when I am just feeling lazy I love to just be able to go to the freezer, get a meal and pop it in the oven or microwave. However, I have found that some times a meal that had good texture and taste when prepared changes in the freezer.

One of the great things I found that freezes well is lasagna. I make it on Sunday and the cut into servings and freeze. Just make sure you undercook it just a little so that the noodles don't get soggy. Chicken is also good frozen perpare it like usual make sure you store the juice with it and that way when you heat it it won't get dry,

Thank you for the tips. Pasta is one of the dishes that I have been having trouble with. Maybe I have just been over cooking it to begin with.

Thank you for a great suggestion. I love omlets and never dreamed of such a neat way to make them. I'm going to mix some up today.
