I drove to Mexico...

I drove to Mexico. Monterrey. And it was quite scary in some moments since I don't speak the language. McAllen,Texas - border crossing was something else.I mean on the other side.
Never experienced that before.Anybody with similar experience? Did you feel safe? Any bad luck?
(I mean,driving in the country & big city of 8 million, not staying in some resort by the sea.)

I have not done that. It would be cool I think. I know Spanish quite well so I don't think I would have felt bad, but there was a time in Spain some people from Ireland said they didn't know English only Irish so it was annoying but I think they were lying. They only spoke Irish and I didn't understand a word but somehow I liked spending time with them. Have a nice day.
