Sounds funny well it's not cause I'm crazy about wrist watches. I love to change them often and I always buy new ones to suit my wardrobe:) As of today I have 18 watches..yup you read it right..I have 18 wrist watches and I plan to buy more.;o)
How many wrist watches do you have? Are you crazy like me or don't care for watches at all?
Take a look at my watches. The big flowery pink one is my favourite.

OMG you seriously are addicted to watches aren't you? LOL I have one watch which I bought in India a couple of years ago because I thought it was pretty and I didn't want to wear the Raymond Weil watch that my ex gave me anymore. I went without wearing a watch for a good 5 or 6 years after having worn once since the age of 12 every single day. Nowadays I just wear my watch more as a decoration than anything and maybe just once a month. I tend to use my mobile phone for the time.
When I did watch a watch every day I used to look at my wrist literally every minute or so and half the time I didn't even register what time it was, looking at my wrist was just a reflex which eventually got very annoying!
Loved the picture of your watches! I hope they're insured hun HEHE!

LOL my husband was amazed that I got such a pretty watch from India. He was shocked that I paid under Rs1000 for it, as he paid over £900 for his Rado and keeps saying he want to buy me a really expensive one too. I keep telling him HANDBAGS not WATCHES but he won't take the hint! Pagal! x

I love watches very much,too..maybe it is a family passions...I mean my parents love watches, my brothers love watches and I love watches...we are used on buying to each others special watches on special occasions..My father bought a marvellous Bulgari watch for my mother for her 50th birthday...my mother bought a Rolex one for my father for his 60 years...my elder brother has a special watch that was one of our grandfather and he gave our little brother a watch for his last birthday...and I bought a watch for me ...it was two months ago and I want to congratulate myself on my new job...so I used my first pay for buying me this new Bulgari watch...this mean now I have to work for months because of all the money I spent!!! I am joking but I wanted that watch and now I am satisfied with it...we work for buying nice things, too...don't we? Watches are supposed to stay with us forever and therefore we like investing our money on them

And they are still in pretty good condition. I get used to wearing a watch when i went out or at work. It seems that somethings missing if i cant wear a watch.

If we go out and he forgets to put his watch on we have to go back home to get it , I didn't realise how many he had until my granddaughter admired one and he took them out to let her have her pick ( of the older models lol) what can one person do with all these watches lol , xx

I have about 12 of them and hardly ever wear them. Always forgetting, no wonder I'm always late for everything. But I have a set that all look the same except for the color of the bands. So I end up with a nice pink, lime green, black etc. Maybe after this post I'll wear them more often.

I am not fond of watches. I have five of them, but I rarely wear them. Generaly I check my time in my mobile phone. I don't know why but I don't like wearing watches very much.
By the way you have a good collection of watches.

I have one. It's almost like the one in your picture, second from the left but mine has a lilac face on it.
I used to wear it all the time but it got a little tight until now, I can't comfortably wear it at all. It needs some extra links putting in, but I never remember to take it with me when we go out.
If we need to know what time it is while we;re out, we usually use my partners cell phone. It's easier that having to hunt for a clock somewhere or to ask a stranger if they know what time it is.

I had a lilac one too but one day I banged it against the wall accidentally and the glass broke. That was one of my favs too since lilac is my fav colour. Yup nowadays since we have a cellphone at hand we can manage without a wrist watch.

I have 13 not as many as you but 2 of them have three interchangeable bands does that count as 6 or 2 ???LOL. They all work and this show I am a bit of a nut because when I am not wearing any of them I stop them so I don't use up the batteries!!

Well it depends, if you are competing with my collection then 2 otherwise its 6..LOL! Actually heather, I did that before too, stop the watches so that prevents the batteries from draining. But my uncle who owns a watch shop told me it's of no use, because as long as the circuit is complete, the battery is still getting drained. so now I don't do that and they stop working sometime or the other!

I probably own 4 or 5 watches, but only one, if any, has a working battery in it. I'm so lazy about taking them into get the battery replaced, I often end up just buying another cheap watch. I almost never wear them anyway (but maybe I would if they were running?) which is why I don't notice when they run down. What I really need is a wind-up watch, so I could just wind it up and set the time when I needed it and not worry about it when I didn't.
