Are you closer to your dad or to your mom?

I have a wonderful bond with both of my parents. But when it comes to interests, my Dad and I belong to the same field. In one way or another, that made us closer enough compared to my mom. Both my Dad and I are into music. He's a songwriter and so I am. He loves to play basketball and so I am too. He has a passion in playing musical intruments and again, I am also inclined to these instruments that he knew also. There are a lot of things my Dad and I talk about. Many of my dislikes are his dislikes too. Once, my mom told me that I'm such a Daddy's little girl, which I find it sweet and cute. Well, I'm also close to my mom. But my sisters are closer to her because they also share the same interests. So who do you think are you closer too? Is it with your mom or your dad?

Well I live closer to my mom, she is about 5 minutes away from me, but she doesn't have a whole lot to do with me. My dad lives in California (I'm in Arkansas) and we talk about once a week and trade emails quite often. Hes a great guy and I can talk to him about just about anything without worrying that he'll judge me. My dad is really supportive of me being a stay at home mom and thinks its great that I try so hard to take care of my family.

for me i am much closer to my mom rather than my dad,coz mom knows better than a dad to his child.dads are generally strict,but moms are friendly and more caretaker than dad.so i am more closer to my mom.

Sad to say i am not close to both my mom and dad, becuase since i was little they see to it that their is a gap between parents and children. The result of this is taht i dont like to open up to them anymore. Until now I still dont. Right now that im a parent already i see to it that my children are close to me. They will open up their ideas and feelings and most especially their problems to me and my husband so that we will be able to guide them and protect them always.

in fact,you have two relationships with your daddy, for one he is your father, for another he is also your friend who has same interest in music and does it as job.you have more common language with your daddy than mom, so that makes you felt more closer to your dad..
however, i do belive, to love,you have a equal love with both of them

I am close to both my parents. I have a very good relationship with them. BUt if you'll ask me as to who between them do I get to talk to, it's always my mom because most of the time, she's the one who is staying in our house. My dad will always go out in the farm the whole day. But when he comes home, we also talk and share a lot of things. I'm both their little baby until now. ANd i love them very much.

i alo have a wonderful bond with both of my parents, but when it comes to interest it is just opposite to you. I am free with my mother rather than my father..I discuss all my problem mostly with my mother..Now the thing is different with me...Now I am living alone far away from my family for further studies..So now I really miss my parents very much..I think life with parents is like heaven.

Ur discuss's most reply will be undoubtedly MOM, i vote for DAD... well they both do so much for us that one can't get the credit.... reason for voting Dad is they are strict but its necessary to share wat they can't show their dreams for u... they are like coconut n mom's are like strawberry.... Hope u got wat u wan from Disc...

I too have a natural bond to both parents.And To tell you it is really a diificult question to answer that whom do I love more.
Also both love me equally.
So there is a 50 50 that I love each of my mom and dad.
At least I can say that it is balalced for me.

Before I joined the Army, I was really close to my dad and not my mom. For some reason, after I told my dad that I was joining the army, we weren't as close as we had been. However, since I had joined the army and I had my first child, my mother and I have gotten a lot closer and my father and I have grown farther apart. I have no idea why this is

i guess it would be my mom, since she's with me everyday at home. my dad just goes home after work, sometimes, he doesn't. and my mom and i share common interests like techie stuff.

I would have to say that i am closer to my mom, not because we share the same intrest thought because i actually have more things in common with my dad than i do my mom, plus im my dads only daughterg. The reason i think im closer to my mom is because my parents were divorced and i lived with my mom until i graduated high school and i never spent that much time with my dad.

I too share a special bond with my parents. Till one age I was Daddy's little girl and I took all my problems to him. But I grew up all of a sudden and since then its been my mom. I share a lot of things with her about my life, especially after I got married. I connect very well on the business level with my dad. I used to assist him in all aspects of the business and when I had to leave home and come far away after I got married, my Dad has always told me "It feels like as though I've lost my right hand" It's so touching and I'm very thankful for such lovely parents:)

Im more closer to my mom because she as always been there when I needed her the most but my dad on the other hand has not been in my life so if I had to say who im closer to I would have to say my mom because when I had my daugther I didn't know very much about taking care of a child but from what she had show me it was a little bit to help but if there was something that I didn't know she was there to help me that's why me and my mom are so close she like my best friend so if I don't have anyone else to talk to I can always talk to her

oh don't get me wrong I love my parents. My mom and dad have their faults and they are far from perfect and I love them, I thank them for everything they ever did for me, but honestly speaking I'm close to neither. I am closer to my brother. I can tell him most stuff and I wouldn't hesitate to talk to him about anything.

wat to answer for this and how can i move my pedulum towards one of them, i cant, because my mom discusses every thing with me- so i am attached to my mom. i make discussions with my dad- so i am attached to my dad too.

well to begin with let me say that as a general rule.boy is closer to his mother and the girl is closer to her dad.even in my case i am much closer to my mom than my dad.when it comes to parents its the question of whom we associate overself with, and love to be with them any given moment of pain and agony.

I am very close to my mom Than my dad.Becouse she always defend me from daddy when i used to do any mistake she always treis to cover my mistake and also she loves me very much than my dad it may be that he also loves me like her only but he never showed me that he loves me as much as my mom.
