Dear couples,how do you overcome ego clashes between yourselves???

I am very curious to know how a couple manages to get rid of ego clashes between them...??? How the theory "opposites attracts" holds good in this case?? Is there any one here in myLot to help me??

I am already 4 years married. When some things like ego clashes One has to be down so that everything go smooth. Me and my husband will have to listen to each other first anything else. If it cannot be settle by talking one has to be quite.
