Excellent question. I think personal/body hygiene is incredibly important, I really do not think that the level of income someone has should be a determining factor on their overall cleanliness. Soap and deodorant are cheaply available, so is toothpaste and a toothbrush come to that, sure you could spend loads on such products but many discount stores and supermarket own brands are much cheaper and do the same thing. I hate, for example, standing in line at the post office in town, I know it sounds awful to say, but the number of times I've ended up behind someone that is claiming their benefits and clearly had not washed themselves that morning, to get downwind of that is horrible. I am not saying everyone on benefits is like that, FAR from it, but I'm using that as an example. Nothing should prevent good hygiene.

Personal Hygiene is very important not for other but for our own selves. Clean living means healthy living. It can prolong your healthy life. It is also feels good when you are clean and smells good.

I agree with you. I try to make it a prority, but you know some people have bidets in their homes so they don't take as many showers/baths because it saves them water. The reason is because water cost much more. Have a nice day and I wish you the best! :D

It's really important to keep ourselves clean...I take a bath everyday, use deodorant, lotion, cologne...I also go to beauty parlors for foot spa and manicure/pedicure...for me this is part of personal hygiene instead of vanity, as some people might think. I also check my clothes...they should always be clean and smelling good...we use fabric conditioners on our clothes; I guess this is still part of personal hygiene...of course, washing the hands before and after eating or after using the comfort room is still part of personal hygiene which is important for us to be disease-free...
