how to teach a 7year old multiplication?

well i am having a problem teaching my six-year-old nephew how to do multiplication i tryed the box and inside box balls...but now he needs to do stuff with Unit Tens and hundred...and i feel its difficult for him aswell as difficult to make him understand...help me out how should i teach him Muliplications and devision!?

Do it simply . write the 2 ,3, 4, etc times table in order and make them recite each
2 X 2 =4
2 X 3 =6 etc etc .
It makes it easier to say and there is no confusion in the mind of the child . or you can try singing it in a song.
