Do you tend to buy mostly one color of clothes?

Sometimes I find that when looking into the closet, I've got so many clothes that are one color, and very few of other colors. At that point I think I've got to get a few other colors in my wardrobe...how could i get so many of one color????
Do you find yourself doing this unconciously, or do you prefer your wardrobe to be mostly one color?

I find that I buy mostly black...and I am not even trying.
I didn't even think about how much black clothing I had until my partner's mother pointed it out to me. I mean, sure, others had commented about how much black I wore...but I really thought they were kidding.
But one day, my partner's mom and I were in a store and she was looking at clothes.
She suddenly busted out that she would buy me some clothes....IF I picked something else besides black. LOL Ok, this shouldn't be hard...right?
Well, would you believe....I couldn't find one thing that I liked!!!
Not one thing!!! If it was another color, I had something to pick at it about. I didn't like the collar, it fit funny, it was too long for my short legs, I didn't like the material....there was something. Poor woman!!! She tried so hard to get me from my black clothing and I really did try! I just couldn't find anything! LOL
Now, don't get me wrong, I have other clothes besides black in my closet...but they are not worn that often either. ha ha

I tend to get alot of blues and blacks. I just drift toward darker colors because brighter ones tend to hurt my eyes, though my wardrobes diverse enough, it turns out okay. Going to chuch sales and trift stores (since that's the only places I can afford buying clothes) the clothes just tend to be in black and blue the most.

i also only shop in thrift stores and such, and it seems that most of the clothes they have are outrageous colors and combinations that would be just too much for me..thanks so much

I dont tend to purchase one color. I love color and tend to mix it up a bit. LOL I have a variety of colors in my closet. My favorite color is shades of purple, any shade. I dont have but one shirt that is purple. Weird but I only have one dress that is purple too. I have lots of colors . I like pastels in summer. I love flowery skirts with many colors in it.
I have seen women who tend to always were the same colors or variations of that color.

I tend to stick to safe colours, one's that I know will suit my skin tone, hair colour, eye colours and body type.
I often buy a lot of the same colour but sometimes feel a little more daring and choose something that I wouldn't normally go for. It will either look really good on me or completely ridiculous, normally that later ....... lol

black-I know, its not officially a color, but then too white. Some people think I am wearing the same outfit everyday, :( but no-I'm not, I just happen to feel comfortable in white turtleneck pullovers and black soft jersey pants. I own other things. Because people buy them for me, remember Jughead in the Archie comics? Was his style contagious?? a friend asked me how come I change clothes after work, since I then put on a white turtleneck jersey and other black pants, and I explained, around the house I wear ones that are worn or a little stained but still comfy. But for work, they have to be immaculate. Don't know why. Actually I don't know why other people wear different things everyday.

For many years pretty much all of my clothes were black, I still have a lot of black but do occasionally buy something with maybe a little colour to it, usually either purple or most recently a few brown items.

Gee...I never thought about it. I don't think I have many other colors too. Unconciously, I pick always neutral colors... white, black, and other soft colors. Once of two times I have this bright colourful dress (more like impulsive buy). I wore it once and never wear it again and I didn't feel confident wearing it.

I do mostly buy one or two colors of clothes. My favorite would have to be black because it is slimming and it goes with everything. It makes getting dressed for class in the mornings easier. I also am really fond of pink t-shirts and hoodies.

I have a couple of colours that i tend to stick to. I love anything purple since it's my faveoruite colour, but i also like clothes in white, creams, beiges and browns, as they seem to suit my colouring. I also sometimes like to have blues and pinks in my wardrobe. There are certain colours that are absent, like reds, oranges, yellows, greens, and really dark coloured tops. I have no black tops becuase black near to my face makes me look really pale. I tend to wear black or dark coloured bottoms though.
